At the same time, the first International Mountain Tourism Conference was opened in Xingyi City, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province on October 10, 2015. World Tourism Organization (WTO), Asia Pacific Travel Association (PATA), internationally renowned experts and scholars from 21 countries and regions such as the United States, Britain, France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Japan, as well as relevant national ministries, domestic and foreign tourism management agencies gathered in Wanfenglin, Xingyi, Guizhou, to discuss mountain tourism. Popularize the concept of mountain eco-tourism, explore the development model of mountain tourism, and promote the development of mountain tourism in China and even the world. The successful and smooth holding of the conference laid the foundation for the permanent hosting place of Xingyi's "International Mountain Tourism Conference" and achieved the reputation of Wanfenglin Tourist Attraction as "International Mountain Tourism Scenic spot".
